Boca Raton Family Session – What to pack for your shoot

Hi friends! Today’s blog features the beautiful Lucas family in Boca Raton Beach. They came down for family vacation from North Carolina and wanted a South FL Beach photoshoot. It was a beautiful, sunny morning and we had an awesome time, Baby Nate was just the cutest.

I always like to make my clients’ sessions as convenient and comfortable as possible. Here’s is a packing list I send to all my clients.

Packing List

• Flats, for walking between photo locations (if you are planning to wear heels)
• Outfit two, if you like to wear a second outfit.
• Touch-up makeup, specially in the summer, humid months
• Water bottle
• Coat or cardigan for the colder months
• Snacks for little ones
• If you have a toddler or younger, small eye-catching toys (or lollipops) to hold their attention

Props – Make it unique and fun

• fresh flowers
• hats
• classic cars or bikes
• champagne (engagement sessions)
• picnic basket
• your puppy!

Things I bring to the shoot

• Lint roller
• A pair of clean umbrellas (for unpredictable weather)
• Safety pins
• Portable fans (for when it’s extra hot)
• A signing toy with lights that catches all the kids attention
• Blanket (for fun family shots)
